Many vehicles are now being offered with
factory navigation systems and display screens for vehicle information.
With the plug-in installation of the Universal Viewtech these screens
can now display up to 2 separate video sources of your choosing!
Universal ViewTech Controller
The Universal ViewTech Controller is
equipped with a group of switch settings which allow a single controller
to be configured to operate a variety of manufacturers screens. Factory
connectors and components are included to allow installation without
cutting any wires. Just let us know which vehicle you have, and we will
ship your controller with the proper connectors to make your
installation as simple as possible.

Optional ViewTech KeypadThe Optional Keypad to operate Video2 is

The Universal Viewtech Kit was created
to allow camera and video to be displayed on the front screen. A
parking brake lockout wire is incorporated into the design to
prevent operation of the Video 2 input while the vehicle is in
motion. If this wire is connected to a ground wire, the Video 2
source operates whenever it is selected. This defeat is necessary
so that an external navigation system can be properly operated. It
is not intended to allow a DVD player to be seen by the driver and
installations of this type are against the recommendation of
Coastal Electronics. The purchase or use of this product
assumes and implies acceptance.
The price for the Rear View License plate
camera kit is $375.00 + shipping.
