Many luxury cars are
equipped with automatic door locks to enhance a sense of security
and safety when driving, especially when you are alone or carrying
valuable items. Coastal Electronic Technologies,
Inc. has developed a
kit to provide this feature and to make the Prius more
intuitive to your needs.
Our
system responds to the driver's seat belt and
correspondingly "LOCKS" and
"UNLOCKS" at the appropriate times. When you sit down
and buckle up, all doors will immediately lock. When you unbuckle
to exit the car, the doors will automatically unlock to let you
out.
The
addition of the Coastal Door Lock Controller does not affect the
operation of the standard door locks or the operation of the
remote control features. It requires no cutting of wires,
drilling, or soldering and comes with complete instructions including
color photos and diagrams.
